The term 'Druzy' refers to a tiny, glittering crystal structure formed on the surface of a host stone, commonly seen in Druzy Agate where the host is the healing Agate stone. This unique formation occurs over a long period, typically born out of lava after volcanic eruptions, where the cooling process around air bubbles creates pockets for groundwater to seep in and deposit minerals as it evaporates. These minerals gradually build upon one another to form crystals, often requiring thousands to millions of years to create a spherical geode with a hollow cavity lined with sparkling crystals.
